Olive Community Development Initiative is proud to announce its first Girl Child Summit, designed to empower young girls with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive. From August 6th–8th, 2018, girls will engage in mentorship, life skills training, and advocacy sessions to unlock their full potential.
The Girl Child Summit, hosted by Olive Community Development Initiative (OCDI), will take place from August 6th to 8th, 2018. This inaugural event focuses on equipping girls with essential life-building skills including decision-making, goal setting, refusal and assertiveness skills, self-esteem, and adolescent reproductive health.
Participants will benefit from mentorship by female experts across various fields, gender equality specialists, and trainers in community-building and advocacy. The summit also offers opportunities for skills acquisition and practical learning.
Through these activities, the Summit aims to empower, educate, and embolden every girl, helping them recognize and maximize their potential to become confident, skilled, and socially responsible young women.
