OCDI Strengthens Resource Mobilization and Grant Management Capacity

Sustainability in today’s development sector requires more than passion—it requires strategy. As donor expectations become increasingly rigorous and the funding landscape continues to evolve, development organizations must embrace innovation, diversification, and continuous learning to sustain and expand their impact. In line with this commitment, Olive Community Development Initiative (OCDI) participated in the Resource Mobilization and Grant Management Training hosted by ActionAid Nigeria in Abuja. The training provided practical insights, tools, and strategies to strengthen institutional capacity in key areas, including: • Diversifying funding streams • Strengthening organizational sustainability • Building strategic partnerships • Understanding donor priorities and language • Enhancing grant management and compliance systems At OCDI, we recognize that strong institutions are built through continuous learning, adaptability, and strategic thinking.
